Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tev Clark (ranked 7276 p4p, 521 weight class) and Frank Morrison (ranked 7680 p4p, 540 weight class). Morrison has chosen March as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison gets caught napping as Clark dives in and scores a takedown. Morrison manages to retain guard.
Morrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Morrison pulls Clark in close to prevent any damage.
Morrison looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Clark pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morrison is keeping the position for now.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morrison is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Clark has hold of Morrison's hands but Morrison slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morrison working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Morrison lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Clark is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morrison lands a big elbow - Clark is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Morrison!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Morrison!
Our winner, Frank Morrison, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
