Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rothco (ranked 2105 p4p, 1922 weight class) and Jimbo Cricky (ranked 277 p4p, 252 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Rothco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimbo Cricky!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothco needs to keep his hands up - Cricky had a free shot at his head there.
Cricky scores with a jab to the head.
Rothco throws a body shot but no joy.
Cricky fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cricky stalks Rothco and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rothco's face. Rothco staggers backwards, shaken.
Rothco tests Cricky's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cricky throws a hook but Rothco blocks it.
Rothco went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Cricky avoids the body shot from Rothco.
Cricky doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Rothco is looking to slow Cricky down with leg kicks.
Rothco lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rothco throws a shot from downtown. Cricky moves away and avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Cricky on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've been told by Rothco's head coaches at Blanc Fitness Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Cricky works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rothco with a hook.
Cricky moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rothco throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A head kick misses from Rothco.
Rothco shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rothco takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rothco fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cricky on the side of the head.
Rothco tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rothco throws an overhand right that lands on Cricky's shoulder, as Cricky tries to avoid the shot.
Cricky dips to his left and cracks Rothco with an uppercut!
Rothco looks for the body kick but Cricky saw that one coming.
Cricky avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rothco looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rothco thows a leg kick but Cricky checks it
and Cricky counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rothco tries a head kick but it misses.
Cricky throws a jab but it's blocked by Rothco.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rothco, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cricky throws a big shot that misses.
Cricky closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rothco ducks under a wild hook from Cricky.
Cricky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rothco.
Cricky appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Rothco connects with a right hand. Cricky shakes it off.
Cricky avoids the body shot from Rothco.
A telegraphed right hand from Cricky misses the target.
Rothco swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Frank Rothco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rothco lands a lovely overhand right.

Cricky on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A decent looking cross lands there for Cricky.
Good exchange - Cricky coming out on top.
Cricky takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rothco thows a body kick. Cricky tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nice defenses there by Cricky.
Cricky throws a combination that misses
and Rothco counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cricky swings widly with a right hand
and Rothco counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rothco drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Cricky right on the button. Cricky goes down! Rothco follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Rothco gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Rothco!
A relieved looking Frank Rothco thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
