The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Whalifa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jordan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Whalifa throws out the jab.
Whalifa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jordan checks it well.
Whalifa works Jordan's body with a nice hook.
Whalifa fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jordan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Whalifa lands with a hook. Jordan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Anthony Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Whalifa.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No joy there for Whalifa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jordan lands with a nice combination. Whalifa backs away looking to recover.

Jordan cracks Whalifa with a right hand to the side of the head.

The crowd cheers as Whalifa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jordan doesn't seem phased though.

Whalifa lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Jordan out cold! Jordan is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
