Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Boxer (ranked 3426 p4p, 439 weight class) and Micheal Turner (ranked 4489 p4p, 522 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Turner.
Turner doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boxer counters with a two punch combo.
Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boxer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Turner!
Turner throws up a few punches.
Turner wants to control but Boxer postures up.
Turner is trying to escape the position but Boxer is controlling the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boxer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Turner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boxer manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Boxer tries to roll over but Turner keeps him under control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turner connects with a nice short shot to Boxer's temple.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Boxer will probably get the nod.

Boxer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turner on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Turner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Turner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Boxer is squirming around, avoiding Turner's attempts to control the action.
Turner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
