The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kauha is fending him off so far but Simpson persists. Nope, Kauha circles away and we're back to standing.
Simpson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kauha counters with a nice body shot.
Simpson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kauha counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kauha lands with a right hand.
Simpson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Simpson with a poor takedown
and Kauha cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ismo Kauha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Simpson.
Simpson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kauha.
Simpson tries for a takedown but Kauha sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kauha darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Simpson is rocked!
Kauha fakes the body blow, causing Simpson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Simpson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
