The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire goes for a double leg but Olsen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Olsen continues to drive forward.
Olsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maguire paws at him with a jab and circles away.
An attempted straight right counter from Maguire misses the target.
Olsen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
As Olsen looks to move away, Maguire throws a big counter combo but Olsen just gets out of the way.
Maguire stuffs the takedown.
Maguire stuffs the takedown attempt from Olsen. Olsen gets slowly back to his feet.
Joe Maguire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johan Olsen.
Olsen looks to clinch
and Maguire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Olsen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maguire's guard.

Olsen has hold of Maguire's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Maguire tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Olsen cranks the arm and Maguire screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Maguire, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
