The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Norris looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Thift tries to roll over but Norris keeps him under control.

Norris has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Thift is on him like a limpet, forcing Norris back against the cage.
Norris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thift takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Norris lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Thift misses with a hook
and Norris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Thift throws the left hand but Norris avoids the punch easily.
Norris tries a quick counter leg kick but Thift is wise to it.
Thift throws a right and a left that both miss.
Thift walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Norris moves away from the strike by Thift.
Despite the aggression on Norris's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Norris throws a head kick that half lands.
Thift throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Norris comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Thift stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Norris is on him like rabid pit bull! Thift slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
