Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Earle Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boitsov!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boitsov misses with a double jab.
Boitsov loads up on a big right hand but Nelson slips the punch.
A head kick by Nelson misses
and Boitsov counters with a shoot takedown. Nelson fights it but they end up in guard.
Boitsov sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Nelson looking to control.
Boitsov scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Nelson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nelson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Boitsov wants to control from the top but Nelson keeps moving.
Boitsov postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boitsov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Nelson has momentary wrist control but Boitsov slips an elbow through the middle.
Nelson is rocked!
Boitsov chips away with some ground and pound.
Oh Nelson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boitsov stands up over Nelson, holding on to his feet. Boitsov throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Nelson is out cold! Boitsov lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dmitry Boitsov!
