The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Peace back to the cage. Perry follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Perry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Peace circles away quickly and effectively.
Peace is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Perry throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Peace counters with a takedown into side control.
Peace trying to control the position but Perry is working away.
Perry takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Perry tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Peace connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Perry some visible discomfort.
Perry is not content to let Peace control the position.
Peace lands a strong strike to the head of Perry. That's dazed him! Peace looking to finish here. Perry is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Peace lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
