Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dollar Hero (ranked 4367 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Perkins (ranked 2531 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hero might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero shoots in but Perkins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
It seemed like Perkins was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hero throws a series of strikes that have Perkins backpedaling.
It looks like Kai Perkins has been cut.
Hero jabs Perkins to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hero cracks Perkins with a good jab.
Hero throws a body punch but Perkins moves out of range.
Hero connects with a single shot there.
Hero displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
A big right from Perkins misses.
We've been hearing reports that Hero has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hero with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hero misses with a series of wild punches.
Perkins finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hero misses with an uppercut. Perkins saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Perkins ! But no joy.
Perkins missing with a left hand there. Hero was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hero tries to clinch there but Perkins circles away.
Perkins tries a quick counter leg kick but Hero is wise to it.
Perkins uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hero has time to react.
Hero throws the left hand but Perkins avoids the punch easily.
Hero cracks Perkins with an open hand slap.
Hero shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Perkins is trying to defend but Hero finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hero is working for a submission of some sort.
Hero throwing shots but Perkins is blocking nicely.

Perkins is trying to stand.
Hero seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hero lands strikes from half guard.
Hero is keen to just control but Perkins is a slippery customer.
Hero not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hero has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

In his post fight interview, Dollar Hero started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
