The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Field is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Field misses with a head kick.
Norton swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Field shoots in for a double leg but Norton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Field is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Norton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Field tries to counter by closing the distance.
Norton keeps the fight on the outside.
Field shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Norton counters with a lovely shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Field.
Steve Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rosie Field.
Field looks winded!

and Norton counters with a slapping leg kick.

Norton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Field's hands.
Norton lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Field keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Field unleashes a big counter combination but Norton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Field takes one to the side of the head.
Norton misses the shot to the body.
Norton jabs Field right on the nose. Field blinks but takes it well.

Norton cracks Field with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Norton has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Field to stand back up!

Field is rocked!

It looks like Rosie Field has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Field walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Norton! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
