Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Cruz (ranked 2914 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sechrist (ranked 6764 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Sechrist!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sechrist forces Cruz back against the cage and clinches.
Sechrist breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cruz throws a combination that misses
and Sechrist counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sechrist.
Cruz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sechrist's guard.
Sechrist utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sechrist keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully.
Sechrist pulls Cruz in close to prevent any damage.
Cruz wants to control from the top but Sechrist keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sechrist has Cruz pulled in close to control his posture.
Cruz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sechrist swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sechrist wants to sweep but no luck.
Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but Sechrist is retaining full guard.
Cruz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cruz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cruz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cruz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cruz with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cruz advances position into side control!
Cruz is trying to get an arm triangle but Sechrist is defending well.
Cruz has hold of Sechrist's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sechrist seems comfortable defending it but Cruz has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sechrist is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sechrist is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cruz couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bryan Cruz!
