Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Time (ranked 4760 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Hammer (ranked 5350 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Time!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Hammer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammer seems keen to control Time's posture.

Time knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hammer on the ground.
Time wants to control from the top but Hammer keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Time trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hammer's guard.
Hammer looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Time closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hammer to the mat! Hammer manages to get full guard.

Hammer has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Time has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Time drags the fight down to the ground.

Time tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Time has an active guard here but Hammer has managed to pass into half guard.

Hammer is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hammer in particular looking to stall.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Time tries to roll over but Hammer keeps him under control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Time keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Time feints and as Hammer raises his hands in defense, Time changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hammer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hammer is adopting a defensive guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Time will probably get the nod.

Time darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hammer wants to get back to full guard.
Hammer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Time's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Time's back!
Hammer controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hammer controlling well, preventing Time from escaping the position.
Hammer is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Hammer. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Hammer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hammer has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Time's body.
Hammer is not going to allow Time to sit and survive in this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Hammer controlling the positon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bryan Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Hammer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hammer tries to sprawl but Time drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Time seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hammer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hammer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Time manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer controls from within his opponent's guard.

Time can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hammer controls the pace.

Time is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hammer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Time looking for a sweep. Not yet Time, not yet.
Hammer is in close to Time's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hammer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Hammer slips nicely into half guard.

Hammer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Time has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hammer is on him like a limpet, forcing Time back against the cage.
Hammer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Time is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Time wants the takedown. Hammer is fighting it off but Time persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hammer's guard against the cage.
Hammer seems keen to control Time's posture.
Time tries to free his leg and advance position but Hammer is retaining full guard.
Hammer is pulling down on Time's head. It's preventing any offense from Time, at least for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Big Time.
I think Time has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
