The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Burns cracks a nice hook into Petrov's ribs.
Burns cracks Petrov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Burns lands a jab to Petrov's midsection.
Burns lands a slapping body shot.
Burns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burns throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Burns fails to land with a series of punches.
A little jabbing left from Petrov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A head kick by Burns misses
and Petrov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burns wants to get back to his feet.
Burns is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Petrov has latched onto it... Big trouble! Petrov pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Burns is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Petrov!
