Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costello takes the fight into the clinch.
Costello turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Guseinov is letting Costello control him for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Costello is chipping away with strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costello in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Guseinov wants to get back to his feet but Costello drags him back down.

Costello goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Guseinov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Costello but great work by Guseinov.
Guseinov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Costello to his feet.
Costello shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guseinov as he avoids it easily.
Guseinov has managed to clinch.

Guseinov wants to get back to striking at distance but Costello won't allow it.
Costello breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Costello rushes Guseinov and presses him up against the cage.

Costello is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guseinov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Costello tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Guseinov is in Costello's guard.
Costello scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Costello really is a fat lump.
Guseinov rushes Costello and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Guseinov breaks from the clinch.
Vusal Guseinov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guseinov scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Costello gets tackled into the cage by Guseinov. Guseinov maintains the clinch.
Guseinov stops a takedown attempt from Costello.

Costello is trying to pull guard but Guseinov turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Guseinov closes the distance and clinches.
Guseinov is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Costello won't allow Guseinov to get back to his feet.
Costello wants to control from the top but Guseinov keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guseinov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Costello is controlling him.

Costello throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guseinov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Costello won't allow Guseinov to get back to his feet.
Costello wants to control from the top but Guseinov keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Costello will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guseinov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Guseinov duly obliges.
It looks like Tony Costello has been cut.
Guseinov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Costello pinned against the cage. Costello gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Costello wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Costello is looking to clinch.
Guseinov dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Costello has had enough and taps out.
