The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos Santos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dos Santos lands in his opponent's guard.
Angel wants to sweep here but Dos Santos controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Angel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dos Santos defends it easily.
Dos Santos scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

It looks like Murk Angel has been cut.

Angel is rocked!

Angel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dos Santos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dos Santos postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Oh Angel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Angel working for a triangle but Dos Santos defends it easily.
Angel seems to have got his legs back now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Angel has his foot on Dos Santos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dos Santos works his way back into a safe position though.

Angel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dos Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Angel is breathing heavily.
Dos Santos stands up over Angel, holding on to his feet. Dos Santos throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Angel is out cold! Dos Santos lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
