The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muise misses with the combination.
Randall looks for a takedown but Muise sprawls well.

Muise sends Randall crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Muise is motioning to the referee to let Randall up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like James Randall has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Randall.
Muise went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Horrible takedown attempt by Randall or perhaps it was just good defense by Muise, which made it look bad.
Derick Muise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Randall.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Randall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Muise was well out of range. Poor timing from Randall.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Muise has cracked Randall with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Muise lands another huge swinging hook and Randall tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Randall, before Muise can land any more shots!

A very excited looking Derick Muise made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
