Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kribbson Urmago (ranked 4262 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Gass (ranked 4288 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urmago changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gass tries to avoid it but Urmago manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gass to the ground. Gass escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gass looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Urmago shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gass sprawls well. Gass wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Urmago gets slowly back to his feet.

and Gass counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kribbson Urmago. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Urmago.
Gass connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Urmago's hands.

and Gass counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Urmago badly! Gass follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Urmago out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Gass finished him against the cage.
