The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vass just misses with a punch to the body.
Vass scores with a punch to the head.
Rodriguez takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Massi Vass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vass.
Vass scores with the left hand. Rodriguez knows he should have avoided that one.
Vass moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Vass lands with an uppercut that bounces Rodriguez off the cage and back into range.
Vass lands a nice looking body kick.
Vass throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Vass shoots in but no luck this time.
Vass wants to land a leg kick but Rodriguez is out of range.
Rodriguez lands a big head kick that sends Vass tumbling to the mat! Rodriguez takes a step backwards and waves Vass back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vass is rocked!
It looks like Massi Vass has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rodriguez lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Vass is looking to close the distance but Rodriguez sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Vass crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Vass is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
