The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison lands a jab to the head.
Morrison throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A left and a right from Morrison both land. Nice combination.
Morrison connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
No luck for James with that takedown attempt.
James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morrison sprawls well. Morrison wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet.
James dives in for a single leg takedown but Morrison sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jim Morrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon James.
Morrison scores with a decent looking hook.
James takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A combination from Morrison does no damage.
Morrison throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Morrison defends well and James ends up having to push Morrison into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Morrison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.
James tries to move into range but Morrison moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Morrison throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

James looks for a takedown but Morrison sprawls well.
James ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And James tries to counter it with a takedown but Morrison pushes his down on his head and steps out.
James avoids the body shot from Morrison.
James fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morrison avoids it really well and circles away.
Morrison misses with a wild combination.
Morrison scores with a nice strike.

James walks into a stiff left hand from Morrison.

Morrison throws out a loose jab but James uses good head movement to avoid it.
Morrison swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by James.
Morrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morrison stuns James with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

James uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Morrison.

Morrison lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morrison.
Morrison throws a lazy right hand but James sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
James takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Morrison throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
James closes the distance and clinches up with Morrison, looking for a takedown. James pushes Morrison against the cage but Morrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morrison misses the shot to the body.
James avoids a punch combination nicely.
James fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Morrison lands a nice looking body shot.
Morrison is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
James shoots for a double leg takedown but Morrison sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morrison cracks James with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
James jabbing away but nothing is landing.

James throws a looping overhand right but Morrison ducks down to avoid it.
Morrison tried to counter with a leg kick but James avoided it.
Morrison attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
James feints the counter takedown.
Morrison cracks James with a good jab.
Morrison looks to throw the jab but James is out of range.
Morrison throws a body punch but James moves out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Morrison scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Morrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
James drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Morrison misses with an uppercut.
James ducks under a wild hook from Morrison.
Morrison listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Morrison dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

James changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

James seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Morrison is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
