Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigelow lands a jab to the nose.
Johnson moves into the clinch.
Bigelow is trying to break free.
Johnson is trying to trip Bigelow. He has hold of a leg but Bigelow is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Johnson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Johnson postures up in Bigelow's guard and throws a big left but Bigelow blocks it.
Bigelow wants to sweep but no luck.
Johnson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Johnson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bigelow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bigelow throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bigelow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Johnson lands a nice short elbow.

Johnson moves nicely into side control.
Johnson has an Americana. Bigelow didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Johnson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Johnson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
