Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a straight right.
Cruz throws a body shot but no joy.
Cruz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
It looked like Yan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cruz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yan pinned against the cage. Yan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yan is looking to counter the offense by Cruz and move into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Yan swats away the attempt to clinch by Cruz.

Yan's corner calls for a 1-2. Yan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Cruz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Yan seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Petr Yan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Cruz.
Cruz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Yan counters with a left and a right that stings Cruz.
Cruz dives in and grabs Yan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yan pushes down on Cruz's head and hops out.
Yan seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Cruz tries for a takedown but Yan circles away easily
and Yan counters with a shoot takedown. Cruz fights it but they end up in guard.
Yan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cruz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yan has managed to get both his arms back between Cruz's legs - danger averted.
Yan postures up and lands a big shot to Cruz's brow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cruz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cruz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yan defends well.
Yan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cruz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Yan is posturing up here but Cruz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Yan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Yan has to tap! Slick submission there by Cruz!
