The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards goes for a double leg but Foster avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Foster continues to drive forward.
Edwards shoots in but Foster avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Foster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Edwards gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Foster counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Edwards misses with a takedown attempt - Foster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Edwards fails to pull guard.

Edwards drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Edwards looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Foster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foster wants to get up but he can't break Edwards's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Edwards working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foster doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Edwards is tightening it up a little... Foster has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Foster reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Foster taps out! Nice BJJ there by Edwards!
