The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne gets a double leg takedown into Senior's guard.

Senior had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wayne defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wayne wants to improve his position but instead Senior has moved into half guard.

Wayne pushes Senior off and gets back to his feet.
Senior tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wayne defends well and Senior ends up having to push Wayne into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Senior looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Senior working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wayne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wayne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wayne tries to free his leg and advance position but Senior is retaining full guard.
Senior manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wayne manages to get himself to full guard.

Wayne content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Senior has locked up a guillotine! Senior's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wayne is holding on here and Senior must be using up a lot of energy. Wayne has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Senior gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
