Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chunzhi Zheng (ranked 3038 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Davis (ranked 2873 p4p, 0 weight class). Zheng has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Chunzhi Zheng looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis shoots in and gets a takedown into Zheng's guard.
Zheng looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Davis's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zheng. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Davis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Davis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zheng went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Davis.

Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
