PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Correa (ranked 22741 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sufyan Amin (ranked 5756 p4p, 0 weight class). Correa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcos Correa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sufyan Amin!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amin's waist but Amin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Correa off to one side.
Correa is breathing heavily.

Amin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Amin scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Amin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Amin stands up over Correa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Correa has momentary wrist control but Amin slips an elbow through the middle.
Amin connects with a couple of short punches.

Correa is rocked!
Amin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Correa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Amin gets to his feet and stands over Correa, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Correa felt that one! Amin unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Correa from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sufyan Amin!
