PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clubber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lang has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shady pinned against the cage. Shady gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lang is breathing heavily.
Shady throws a push kick but Lang slaps the foot to one side.

Shady gets the takedown into side control.
Lang taking punishment in the form of punches.
Shady controls the position from side control.
Shady tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Shady tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Shady working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Shady advances nicely into full mount.

Shady with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Shady thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lang defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Shady.
Shady has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Shady throws some wild stikes that Lang manages to avoid easily.

Shady trying to control but Lang is having none of it.

Shady has isolated one of Lang's arms. Lang looking to fight him off but Shady twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
