Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Riquelme Boca (ranked 4601 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Lazebnov (ranked 4699 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazebnov shoots in for a takedown but Boca shows good takedown defense.
Lazebnov is looking to clinch.

Lazebnov tries to keep at a distance but Boca has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lazebnov is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Boca is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lazebnov is just riding it out for now. Boca eventually gives up the hold.

Boca fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lazebnov sprawls well initially but Boca persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Boca lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Boca is trying to control the action in half guard but Lazebnov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Boca is thwarting Lazebnov's attempts to control the position.

Lazebnov is concentrating on defense, preventing Boca from advancing position.
Boca is pressing down on Lazebnov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lazebnov is holding on for now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Lazebnov fails in his attempt to clinch.

Boca dives in and scores a takedown into Lazebnov's guard.
Lazebnov is looking to stand back up but Boca counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lazebnov.

Lazebnov wants to control but Boca is keeping busy.
Lazebnov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Boca is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lazebnov is just riding it out for now. Boca eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lazebnov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boca is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Boca avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boca keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Boca swats away the attempt to clinch by Lazebnov.
Lazebnov shoots in looking for a takedown. Boca tries to sprawl out of it but Lazebnov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boca manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lazebnov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lazebnov closes the distance and clinches up with Boca, looking for a takedown. Lazebnov pushes Boca against the cage but Boca circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Riquelme Boca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Lazebnov.
Boca tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lazebnov with the counter takedown but Boca avoids it easily.
Boca throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lazebnov's waist but Lazebnov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boca off to one side.
Boca tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lazebnov was well out of range. Poor timing from Boca.

Boca dives in for a single leg takedown but Lazebnov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Boca counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lazebnov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lazebnov is breathing heavily.
Boca goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Boca fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lazebnov to the ground. Boca is now in Lazebnov's guard.

Boca is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lazebnov can do to turn this around?

Boca escapes and gets back to his feet.
Lazebnov fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lazebnov clinches up against the cage.
Lazebnov gets underhooks to prevent Boca's takedown attempt.
Lazebnov on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Boca decides to pull guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lazebnov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Boca is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lazebnov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Boca's body to avoid the submission. Boca has instead reached around Lazebnov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Boca arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
