Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, First Officer Chakotay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igor Nox!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nox clinches up against the cage.
Chakotay throws a punch but it's blocked by Nox.
Chakotay misses with the head strike.
Chakotay lands a shot to the body.
Nox looking to throw knees to the head but Chakotay is blocking nicely.
Chakotay digs a right hand underneath Nox's ribcage. Nox let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Chakotay lands with a right to the head.
Nox jumps guard but Chakotay stands there with Nox around his waist. Nox gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nox is trying to drag Chakotay to the mat but Chakotay just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Chakotay has Nox pressed against the cage, preventing Nox from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chakotay gets through Nox's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Chakotay lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Chakotay working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Nox wants to stall.
Chakotay lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nox drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chakotay gets the underhooks and prevents it.
First Officer Chakotay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Nox.
Nice body punch from Chakotay - that landed with a thud.
Nox looks winded!
Nox takes a shot to the head.
Nox tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Chakotay lands a left hand.
Nox is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chakotay.
Nox is still on wobbly legs! Can Chakotay finish him?
A short body shot lands from Chakotay as the two fighters clinch.
Chakotay lands an uppercut.
Chakotay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Chakotay dips a shoulder and cracks Nox with a mighty uppercut! Nox falls back against the cage and Chakotay unloads with a barrage of strikes! Nox is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Chakotay screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). First Officer Chakotay!
