Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adonis Christopher (ranked 7178 p4p, 589 weight class) and Nairy Huts (ranked 25017 p4p, 641 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christopher lands a body shot.
Huts misses with a looping right.
Huts leaves Christopher with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Huts steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Christopher closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Huts did well to prevent Christopher getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Christopher connects with a nice short shot to Huts's temple.

Christopher decides to stand up.
Huts has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Christopher is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Christopher scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Huts tries to get to full guard but Christopher has control of the leg.

Christopher slows the pace down in half guard.

Huts is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Huts is trying to stand back up but Christopher is controlling him

Christopher is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Christopher prevents Huts from improving his position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Huts is looking for a sweep. Christopher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Huts looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Christopher postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Huts to stand up.
Christopher misses with a takedown attempt - Huts sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Christopher throws a sloppy head kick and Huts moves out of range easily.
It seemed like Huts was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Christopher has taken the fight to the clinch.
Huts gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Christopher.
Our sources have told us that Christopher has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adonis Christopher. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Christopher jumps guard and drags Huts to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Huts tries to free his leg and advance position but Christopher is retaining full guard.

Huts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Christopher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Huts has Christopher in his guard.

Christopher has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Huts wants to sweep here but Christopher controlling him for the moment.

Christopher has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Huts to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Christopher is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Huts pulls down on the head and he's put Christopher to sleep! This one is all over!
