Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Edwards's waist but Edwards gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clancy off to one side.
Clancy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Edwards misses with a few strikes there.
Some wild striking there from Edwards.
Edwards lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Clancy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Edwards has managed to clinch.

Edwards pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwards leaves Clancy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Clancy shoots in looking for a takedown. Edwards tries to sprawl out of it but Clancy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Edwards manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Edwards feints and as Clancy raises his hands in defense, Edwards changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Edwards's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Edwards really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clancy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Edwards is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Clancy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Edwards is looking to defend but Clancy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Edwards! Clancy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Edwards taps out and this one is all over!
