The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar tries to bum rush Lyons with a series of wild strikes but Lyons uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Lyons fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Escobar sprawls well initially but Lyons persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Lyons there.
Lyons lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Escobar quite badly. Escobar pulls Lyons in close trying to recover. Lyons postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Escobar on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Escobar doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
