Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Fabricio DeSilva (ranked 5548 p4p, 425 weight class) and Alec Diego (ranked 5442 p4p, 421 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego checks a leg kick nicely.
Diego wants to counter the offense by DeSilva and move into the clinch position.
DeSilva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
DeSilva swings away with a leg kick that misses.
DeSilva tries to land a leg kick but Diego saw it coming and moves away.

Some bone on bone action there as Diego checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Good leg kick by DeSilva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Diego swings for the body but DeSilva moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diego tried to land a shot to the body but connects with DeSilva's elbow.
DeSilva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Diego has him pressed against the ropes.

Diego has a couple of punches blocked by DeSilva.

Diego swings wildly with an uppercut but DeSilva uses good head movement to avoid it.

Diego tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Diego doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Diego misses with a hook to the ribs.
Diego is pushing DeSilva up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
DeSilva is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Diego lands with a short head shot on the inside.
