Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Logan Trilly (ranked 7381 p4p, 476 weight class) and Rickson Time (ranked 24143 p4p, 522 weight class). Rickson Time will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Logan Trilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rickson Time!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trilly is fending him off so far but Time persists. Nope, Trilly circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Time with that takedown attempt.
Trilly swats away the attempt to clinch by Time.
Trilly shoots in for a double leg but Time sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Logan Trilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Time moves into range and clinches up with Trilly.
Time wants to stall.

Time is fighting off a takedown attempt but Trilly is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Time to the mat. Time regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Time working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Trilly.

Time looking for subs off his back but Trilly has passed one foot through into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Trilly is looking for a kimura here.
Trilly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Time on the ground.
Time tries to roll over but Trilly keeps him under control.
Trilly is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Trilly has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Trilly trying to pass the guard but Time defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Time tries to roll over but Trilly keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trilly winds up and cracks Time with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Trilly prevents Time from standing back up.
Time trying to control here.
Trilly is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trilly is looking to advance position but Time won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Time looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Trilly wants to get back to his feet.
Time moves into full guard.
Trilly sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Time's guard.
Time trying to hold on to Trilly's head to control him but Trilly postures up.

Time looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Time throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Trilly is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Trilly in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are battling for position here. Time manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Trilly not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Trilly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Time is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Logan Trilly dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Trilly drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Time tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Time is in all sorts of trouble here.
Time taking shots to the head.
Time is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Trilly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Time can do to turn this around?
Trilly raining down hammerfists from mount.
Time's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Time is trying desperately to improve position.

Time is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Trilly is landing with some decent strikes but Time is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Time is desperately trying to improve his position but Trilly has a good base and remains in mount.
Trilly raining down shots from the mount!

Trilly working for a submission but Time is keeping him at bay.
Trilly lands a big elbow - Time is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Time is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Logan Trilly!
Logan Trilly opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
