The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felix with a hook.
Felix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vazzappo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Tevin Felix has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Vazzappo.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Felix.

Felix manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vazzappo on his heels. He'll look to pass Vazzappo's guard now, I'm sure.

Vazzappo pushes Felix off and scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vazzappo walks into a jab.
Felix changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vazzappo tries to avoid it but Felix manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vazzappo to the ground. Vazzappo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vazzappo throws a low kick but Felix moves out of range easily.
Vazzappo avoids the body shot from Felix.
Felix swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Felix misses with a takedown attempt - Vazzappo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tony Vazzappo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tevin Felix.

Felix bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Vazzappo is letting Felix control him for a moment.

Felix is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Vazzappo is trying to escape and Felix transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Vazzappo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Felix! Very nice indeed!
