Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Walters (ranked 4057 p4p, 365 weight class) and Norman Parke (ranked 4544 p4p, 393 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kevin Walters has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kevin Walters seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters gets a double leg takedown into Parke's guard.
Parke looking for a sweep. Not yet Parke, not yet.
Walters throws a big elbow that misses.
Parke working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walters.

Parke might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Walters haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walters drops back looking for a leg! Parke is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parke manages to kick Walters off! Walters jumps back into Parke's guard.
Walters scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Walters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walters slips nicely into half guard.

Parke avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Walters.
Walters maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Parke could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Walters has cracked it and Parke is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Walters!
