Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Iron (ranked 2955 p4p, 345 weight class) and The Loki (ranked 5550 p4p, 468 weight class). Iron comes into the arena with Beck Im a Loser baby blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Iron gets caught napping as Loki dives in and scores a takedown. Iron manages to retain guard.
Loki content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Loki postures up in Iron's guard and throws a big left but Iron blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loki is nestled in close to Iron, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Iron is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Iron might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Iron has hold of Loki's hands but Loki slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Iron has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Loki is working away from the top position though.
Loki lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Loki is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Iron is looking for a sweep. Loki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Loki winds up and cracks Iron with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Loki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Iron is trying to control but can't.
Loki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Iron with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Iron wants to control but Loki is keeping busy and won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Iron is rocked!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Loki lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Iron is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loki lands a big elbow - Iron is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Loki!
