Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Batista (ranked 24149 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Man Chung (ranked 3082 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tong Man Chung!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung is looking to land body kicks.

and Batista holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Batista knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chung on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Chung is looking for a kimura but Batista is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chung to get the leverage.

Chung has managed to slip his arm under Batista's chin. This could be all over... yep, Batista is tapping out! Submission win for Chung.
