The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer throws a head kick but Ilic moves out of range.
Ilic went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ilic misses with a head kick.
As Ilic backs off Palmer throws a huge counter combo but Ilic manages to avoid it all.
Palmer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ilic displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Max Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ilic lands a big head kick that sends Palmer tumbling to the mat! Ilic takes a step backwards and waves Palmer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Palmer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ilic.

Palmer throws a combination. Ilic tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Petar Ilic has been cut.
Ilic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Palmer circles away quickly and effectively.
Palmer throws a head kick but Ilic moves out of range.
Ilic is looking for a counter combo.

Palmer steps into range and cracks Ilic with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Ilic flops backwards and Palmer dives into his guard looking to finish!

Ilic is rocked!

Palmer stands up and waves to Ilic to follow him.
Oh Ilic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Are you kidding me?! Palmer ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Ilic clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
