The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheetah tries to close the distance and clinch but Song swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cheetah fails with a takedown attempt.
Song tries to counter with a takedown but Cheetah is quick to defend against it.
Song shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cheetah counters with a left to the body.
Song dives in for a single leg takedown but Cheetah sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Despite the aggression on Cheetah's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Cheetah fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cheetah displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Song.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Lee Song. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Song bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cheetah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Song.
Song goes for a double leg but Cheetah avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cheetah continues to drive forward.

Song misses the shot to the body.

Cheetah closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Song wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cheetah has him pressed against the cage.

Cheetah tries to pull guard but Song won't allow it.

Song pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Song fails to land the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Cheetah as Song shoots in.
Song is breathing heavily.
Song defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cheetah.
Cheetah lands with a kick to the temple. Song shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Tommy Lee Song has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Song loses concentration momentarily and Cheetah pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Song crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Cheetah finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
