Phillips comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brian Santos has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos moves in looking to clinch but Phillips pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Santos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Santos throws a head kick but Phillips moves out of range.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kaleb Phillips just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Phillips paws at him with a jab and circles away. Santos avoids the head kick by Phillips.
