Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pistol Pete (ranked 2182 p4p, 257 weight class) and Prince Tonni (ranked 4909 p4p, 448 weight class). Pistol Pete could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Prince Tonni's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Prince Tonni!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Tonni gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pete looks to land a right hand but Tonni moved out of range.
Tonni shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tonni gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pete .
Pete ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tonni moves away.
Pete looks to land a combination but Tonni avoids it well.
Tonni throws a counter combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pete slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nice jab there from Pete .

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pete throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tonni stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pete misses with an uppercut
and Tonni counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tonni displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pete throws out the jab.
Tonni is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pete with a body shot.
Tonni takes one on the button.
Pete throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tonni counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Tonni counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pete connects with a jab.
Pete smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tonni is rocked!
Pete clobbers Tonni with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Tonni is still on wobbly legs! Can Pete finish him?
Pete drops Tonni with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pete follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pistol Pete !
