Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Korn Gracie (ranked 763 p4p, 111 weight class) and Bobby Scott (ranked 1858 p4p, 238 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Scott!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gracie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Scott gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Scott throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gracie blocks it with crossed arms.
Gracie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A left hand lands to the body for Scott.

Scott is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scott down to the mat. Scott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Korn Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scott sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.

I was talking to Gracie's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
