Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seamus O Toole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hain has chosen Shadow Boxing by Nasty Habits as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for O Toole with that takedown attempt.
O Toole fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hain doesn't succeed with the takedown

and O Toole counters by moving into the clinch.
Hain is trying to break the clinch but O Toole has him pressed against the cage.
Hain gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from O Toole.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seamus O Toole. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hain pulls O Toole into guard.

Hain looking for a guillotine here but O Toole defends easily.
Hain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hain has his foot on O Toole's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. O Toole works his way back into a safe position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Toole accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

O Toole is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hain is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hain has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Toole has one foot on Hain's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Hain decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in O Toole's guard.

O Toole knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hain on the ground.

Hain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
O Toole looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hain is one step ahead there.

Sam Hain dominated that round.
That's time! O Toole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

O Toole shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. O Toole showed some decent athleticism there.
O Toole throwing shots but Hain is blocking nicely.
Hain flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hain wants to control but O Toole is keeping busy.
O Toole missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. O Toole gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hain is breathing heavily.
Hain avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
O Toole trying to control the position from guard on top but Hain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
O Toole lands a couple of digs.

Hain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. O Toole is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take O Toole's back instead.
O Toole wants to get back to his feet.

Hain missing with strikes from the back.
Hain doesn't have the hooks in and O Toole manages to turn into his guard.

Hain has the hooks in. O Toole is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

O Toole is having to fend off submission attempts from Hain, who is looking to sink in the choke. Hain doesn't have the hooks in though and O Toole manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

That's time! O Toole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
