Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Clark Trejo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Chuck Abbot!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trejo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Trejo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Abbot just stands there and leans against the cage.

Abbot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Trejo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Abbot, pushing him back against the cage.
Abbot looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A hook to the body from Abbot.

Abbot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Abbot slaps away a takedown attempt from Trejo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Trejo has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short body shot lands from Abbot as the two fighters clinch.
Trejo stalling against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Abbot is pushing Trejo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Abbot slowing the pace effectively.
Trejo misses with some punches.

Abbot is fighting off a takedown attempt but Trejo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Abbot to the mat. Abbot regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Trejo sitting in guard here, content to control.
Trejo won't allow Abbot to get back to his feet.
Abbot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trejo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Abbot looking to control but Trejo passes into half guard.
Abbot is trying to get back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trejo is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Abbot is looking for a sweep. Trejo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Trejo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Abbot's head.
Trejo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Trejo is trying for a kimura here. Abbot looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Trejo wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Clark Trejo!
