Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Orto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nikolas's waist but Nikolas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Orto off to one side.
Nikolas throws a body shot but no joy.
Orto throws a counter combo.
Nikolas throws a looping overhand right but Orto ducks down to avoid it.
Nikolas's corner calls for a 1-2. Nikolas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Randi Orto has been cut.
Orto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nikolas tries to avoid it but Orto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nikolas to the ground. Nikolas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Orto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nikolas defends well and Orto ends up having to push Nikolas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

It looked like Nikolas was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Orto .

Nikolas lands a left and a right that send Orto crashing to the mat, dazed. Nikolas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Horrible takedown attempt by Orto or perhaps it was just good defense by Nikolas, which made it look bad.

Nikolas drops Orto with a beautiful combination! Orto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nikolas is looking for the KO!
That has opened up Randi Orto 's cut even more.
Nikolas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nikolas throws a jab but it's blocked by Orto .

As Nikolas backs off Orto throws a huge counter combo but Nikolas manages to avoid it all.
Orto shoots in but Nikolas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Orto darts in looking for a takedown but Nikolas gets double underhooks and turns Orto into the cage.
