Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Great Tiger (ranked 373 p4p, 43 weight class) and Jallu Pesonen (ranked 440 p4p, 54 weight class). Pesonen has chosen DJ Orkidea - Joutsenlaulu as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pesonen swings for the body but Tiger moves out of range.
Tiger blocks the body kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pesonen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tiger's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tiger's back!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Pesonen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tiger takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tiger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tiger tries to clinch but Pesonen is having none of it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Tiger or perhaps it was just good defense by Pesonen, which made it look bad.
Tiger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pesonen.

Tiger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pesonen.
Tiger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pesonen can pounce on him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pesonen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tiger has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tiger and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tiger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pesonen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pesonen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tiger manages to get himself to full guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pesonen working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Great Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pesonen drops Tiger with a huge uppercut! Tiger drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Pesonen is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jallu Pesonen!
After the fight, Jallu Pesonen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
