Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Coral Sea (ranked 520 p4p, 64 weight class) and Edgar Avetisyan (ranked 1147 p4p, 140 weight class). Sea comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avetisyan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sea throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Sea shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Avetisyan's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Avetisyan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sea is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Avetisyan is defending well.

Sea's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Good leg kick by Sea there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Avetisyan looks to throw the jab but Sea is out of range.

Sea is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sea throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sea working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sea thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Avetisyan's head.
Avetisyan is still in real trouble! Can Sea finish him?
Sea looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sea seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Sea lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Avetisyan quite badly. Avetisyan pulls Sea in close trying to recover. Sea postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Avetisyan on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Avetisyan doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Coral Sea!
A very excited looking Coral Sea rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
