Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Ison (ranked 2749 p4p, 322 weight class) and Bolo Yueng (ranked 3081 p4p, 348 weight class). Yueng has chosen Stranglehold by Ted Nugent as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cole Ison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bolo Yueng !
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yueng throws a head kick but Ison moves out of range.
Ison bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Yueng drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yueng gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yueng lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ison is looking for a triangle here but Yueng uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ison tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Who's going to make the next move?
Ison is looking for a sweep.

Yueng thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yueng wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yueng is working Ison over with some ground and pound from side control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Yueng wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ison keeps working.
Yueng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ison is working to avoid the ground and pound but Yueng connects with a decent elbow.

Yueng wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ison, who protects the arm well.
Yueng is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ison has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bolo Yueng dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ison tries a head kick but it misses.
Ison dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yueng clinches with his opponent.
Ison manages to break the clinch.
Ison looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ison scores with a kick to the body.
Ison keeps the fight on the outside.
Ison lands a nice looking kick to the body. Yueng takes a step back to recover.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yueng crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ison - the referee stops the clock and Yueng gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ison. Yueng manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ison lands a big head kick that sends Yueng tumbling to the mat! Ison takes a step backwards and waves Yueng back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Yueng is rocked!
It looks like Bolo Yueng has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ison throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Yueng crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Cole Ison!
