Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sando gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Putins to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sando doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Sando trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Putins tries to free his leg and advance position but Sando is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Putins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Putins trying to control the position from guard on top but Sando is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Putins stopping the sweep attempt from Sando.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Putins is pushing down on Sando's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sando is fighting to maintain full guard but Putins has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sando is not content to let Putins control the position.
Sando lands a couple of sideways elbows.
Putins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Putins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sando does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sando has a hand on Putins's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Putins takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Putins prevents Sando from getting the reversal.
Putins trying to control but Sando is having none of it.

Sando tries to improve his position but Putins has taken his back! Putins has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Sando tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Putins pushes Sando away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
